So I've said before that with DD I never had ANY ctx (other than painless BH) with DD before my induction...sooooo...I have hopes that considering this time I HAVE had quite a few that it may mean I might go a bit earlier than my "due date".
Hopes, folks...just hopes.
Anyway, I've had a few nights of minor contractions over the past week and a half, along with lots of other things that could always "possibly" point to labor- but at this point what's the fun in saying that when labor is inevitible within the next, oh, month or so.
But last night I really thought it was it!!!! I just randomly started having GOOD contractions at 7 pm- regular (but I wasn't timing) from the start. They picked up when I went on a walk, and kept up until 10 pm. Then DH walked through the door, asked me if anything was happening (he's taken a sudden interest in the baby coming ASAP!), and once I told him that I'd been contracting regularly and increasingly for the past 3 hours...everything STOPPED! Literally. I had maybe 3 ctx over the next hour then none!! Woke up at 3 a.m. to a whiney toddler (she's getting another molar) so I let her nurse (first night nursing in over 6 months since we nightweaned) and a bit later had to get up to pee and she'd helped me work up a MAJOR painful, crampy contraction and I was so excited that things had maybe picked back up, but nope. Bummer!!!! So why did telling DH screw things up?
I told him from now on I'm keeping quiet about everything and he'll just have to figure out on his own when I'm in labor.
