What is the treatment for early Ectopic like?

Sorry to have so many threads for me on this but-

For anyone who has treated an early ectoppic, coupld you please tell me what it is like?
I know they give some kind of drug, or is it an injectable?
How does it fel, what does it do, what are the side effects, does it effect fetility, does it make you feel sick does it hurt?

BTW if it were ectopic ( still to be determined) I would be 20 Days past Ovulation today.

Most of the time they use an injection of a medication, but sometimes surgery is required, as I understand it.

But if you're still having BFNs with the home tests, then I'm pretty sure you're dealing with an ovarian cyst, and not an ectopic. Still, better to be safe than sorry. And hopefully the u/s will ease your mind.

I have not tested for pregnancy since af started but DH is bring ing me home a pg test today so that will answer that.
I am thinking it is a cyst- which totally sucks but is not as bad as an ectopic.
Because I don't have pg symptoms and af came on time.

I just have this achy feeling like something is stuck in m ovary area.
SOmetimes it hurts.
The gyno is being vague about seeing me, not thinking it is ectopic. My friend just called and told me when she had a cyst the gyno said people get them all the time and they often go away on their own.

I am in the midst of a chinese herb cleanse to treat this right now but it isn't working so well. I am going to make my second packet of tea now so I hope I feel better.


It sucks to try and try to get pregnant and t get hurt and sick instead! boo hoo.

I think it is a cyst rather than ectopic

I think I don't have an ectopic cause of all those reasons but rather a cyst. So now they just called and said I can come in for a ultrsound this aftrernoon-
but I don't know if I want to . I guess I should just to see their diagnosis.
Doctors scare me with their invasive and hurried treatmnets.
My Chinese doc said yesterday to wait three days for this to have a chance to clear out befor eI see the docs
which is one of the things making me hesitate.
the other is that they hven't told me anything they can DO if it is a cyst.
Before they called I was just gonna take a hpt tonight to rule out ectopic, though I mostly have ruled that out.

So- scenario- if I go in for an u/s today I go through it all whch feelsSCARY and clinical- and they say- yeah you have a cyst. I say- okay, I knew that already now what? They say- well, we will monitor it but there is nothing much to do for it.
So then instead of taking today to read and rest and cleanse and stay home all day I go in for this checkup which leaves me no better off.
Furthermore- I do not really want to see this thing on a screen, reallly!

That feels like it will make it scarier.
But on the other hand guess part of me want s their diagnosis but maybe I should see if I can do it in 2 more days once my chinese meds have had a chance to work?
But I am not having the cleanse w- them that i had hoped for.
But the gynos don't seem to have anything else to give other than confirmation of the problem.
