Former October 2006 Mamas check in Here

So let's pick up where our life with a babe thread petered out a year ago.

How is everybody? How are the kiddos? How are you feeling this time? Anybody else especially nervous about the rampant twin virus attacking this DDC? I bet we set an MDC record for multiples in one DDC.

My boys are great. They have been walking since Feb. They are now talking up a storm. My older DD is still a real handful. We are still homeschooling, no matter what comes of this pregnancy. Oh, and so far my DH's job is secure (he just got a promotion) so now possibility of a sudden move to another part of the country this time around. This could be a first for me.

here I am...I was in the October 2006 due date club, but ended up having Porter on November 3rd..

like I said in another thread...it is nice to see so many familiar faces already...

kind of weird how we find ourselves yet again in the same due date club...

We're doing great by the way..

we're also doing good. My youngest dd is now 19 mos. (born 10/12) and she is quite the fireball. My older two girls were very mellow babies...well not Lizzie! She is all action. We still homeschool and will continue to do so. We're all very excited by this pregnancy and hoping all goes well.

my son is doing very well he was born 10-8. He's a yammerer. He talks non stop. It never ceases to amaze me the things he puts together.

He's still nursing he gets up about once maybe twice a night, we're almost there!!!! I hope to get him sleeping through the night prior to the new arrival! I'm a little over 7 weeks pregnant. I'm due the Dec 28th or so, that's why I joined the January club, he could go late.

Wishing everyone happy and sticky first trimesters!!

I obviously was not in your DDC, but I just had to add, as this was so funny to me! Like four women from my November 2005 DDC were due February of this year, 2008, and the years/months works out exactly the same--2 years and 3 months between pregnancies. There has got to be something to that...

How funny! My dd was due in Oct '06 but ending up being a November baby.

Oh heavens...I shouldn't even be lurking in here! AF is due today (but no sign of her yet!), Dh's bday and there really is a chance this month. I'm not super hopeful but gosh, my heart feels it, yk? Don't have any tests in the house but I'll pick up a couple while I'm out today.

Oh yeah...my lil guy Matthew was born Oct 7th (he's in my sig pics a couple times). I about laughed out of my chair when I read the title to this thread Here I was thinking I would just be sneakin in and no one would notice me. Heehee. Anyway, Matthew is another of those balls of fire that one of you mentioned already. Hoo-ee, he takes a lot of patience, lol. He's still nursing night and day and has only slept "thru the night" a couple times in his life. That's okay though, I tell Dh that we'll have plenty of years to sleep alone when our kiddos are all grown up. I'm enjoying them while I have them.

Anyway, congrats on all your new pgcies, gals! I'm sure I'll be followin ya even if I'm not joinin ya.

I wasn't a part of your DDC (I didn't know about MDC then) but I had my daughter October 15, 2006 (she was due October 1st).
