End of pregnancy celebration!

What are you planning to do once your baby is out? And if you've delivered what was the first thing you did?

I fully intend to stretch out on my belly and back as much as possible.

Bring out my other shoes-I've been wearing one pair flip flops for months. Once the swelling is down, I will be sporting some other shoes!!!

And I am so going to get a good shave in...

Funny you mentioned shaving...we went to an indoor water park over the weekend and I realized at the last minute I needed to shave too. I had bikini bottoms and well....that area needed some attention. It was an adventure, let me tell you. Shaving that area blind is kinda scary!

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do, I'm so stressed right now that I haven't thought past birth. It will be nice to get back into some regular clothes though, I've been rotating the same 3 shirts for the last 2 weeks.

I have really missed sleeping on my belly, too. But, my desires are pretty foodcentric. I would like to have some goat cheese and strawberries and a glass of pinot noir. Silly, huh?

First I plan to smell this LO. I adore that smell. Ahhh, I can't wait for that. I want to hug DP real close, actually be able to stand near him, and then after that I am going to sleep on my belly!!

Oh and probably have a margarita or bloody mary

All the non- baby stuff: I'm going to have a little bit of beer to celebrate, then some sushi.....mmm sushi - how I have missed you!
Sleeping on my belly, being able to turn over without feeling like I need a forklift to do so, shaving, not hitting my stomach on things.

Stuffing my maternity shirts away...instantly. (the pants/shorts/capris I'll keep wearing for a while, but I have other great shirts to wear PP since I use my Bella band)

Getting back in a plane, sleeping on my back, a nice glass of Merlot and finally being belly to belly with DH without the rest of our bodies still being 3 feet apart!!

Stretch out on my back!!! Ooohhhh..... And have a good, real cup of tea. And I can't wait to do some real pilates again, though that won't be for a while.

Being able to sleep for longer than an hour and turn in bed. Even with a newborn, I know I'll get more consecutive (pain free) sleep than I am now.

Also, walking and hiking with my family. It is our favorite summer activity. Right now I'm at a snail's pace and in a lot of pain.

I want to lay on my back for hours.

I want a big cold beer.

I want to stuff myself with salmon sushi.

I want ice cream. Granted, I have had plenty of ice cream this pregnancy, but a celebration isn't a celebration w/o ice cream.

And I can't wait for the first time the babe takes a nap on my chest. The most blissful sight and feeling ever.

Oh that'll be fabulous! That's the thing I'm most looking forward to as well.

Sushi, beer, a trip to the chiro where I'll actually be able to get my back cracked, and a nap on my belly.

I've put lots of thought into it.

I plan on taking a nice, LONG, pee without just sitting down and dripping two drops and having to repeat every 2 minutes!
