Update on NatureMama3 #68

Thought you all might like to know; and to Christine - I'm continuously thinking about you, your in my thoughts - big s to you & your family!

Here's an update for Christine (NatureMama)

she has NOT had enoch yet.

they drove all the way down to Boise (where the "good" doctors are) and the hospital would not admit her for an induction.

her hands, feet and face swelled up overnight and when she was being monitored, enoch's heartrate would decel with every ctx.

still though, they would not admit her.

so... she's waiting on her midwife to get in touch with a backup midwife (or doc, i forget which) who is in boise so that the doc can get her admitted and induced.

she and james and her sister are hangin out at denny's right now, just waiting.

so pray that the people in boise get their heads screwed on right and that by tomorrow csk is holding hte Big Easy.

ETA: I can't believe that they would not admit her, especially with the baby's heart rate deceling. :

omg. that's friggin amazing. You'd think they'd be trying to section her by now for god's sake, and they won't even admit her. ....I will bite my tounge for fear of unstoppable ranting! She will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight...her and baby...

I can't imagine a single reason that they wouldn't want to admit her... if nothing else, they can "monitor" her and charge more $.

Thought I'd pop over and see if Christine had posted an update to her DDC.

Again, Christine, I hope you don't mind. I know the ladies here are thinking of you and praying for you and I saw you hadn't updated MDC yet.

From last night:

they ended up going home last night. they are going to try her midwife's back up ob who is 3 hours north of where they are.

csk's bp is up again. 154/100. the swelling is worse and she tested fro protein this morning and sure enough, there was protein there.

she sounded pretty tired to me, which is certainly understandable.

so pray pray pray. pray for enoch to be healthy and born soon. pray for csk to have energy and to be encouraged and for her to be healthy. pray for james and the boys as they have got to be worried about mommma.

From Christine this morning:

my midwife is trying to get ahold of her backup OB in Lewiston again (who yesterday was just as upset they wouldn't admit). She's not on until next week, but we're hoping she can call a colleague and work it out. Lord willing I can go to Lewiston and get induced.

Plan B is to go to the birth center, induce labor and transfer. They can't turn that down.

swelling is worse today. I'm worried about big E. His heart was going from the 140-60 range down to the low 120s with each contraction (which were about 7-10 apart). My midwife has the one in town here coming over this morning to check on E and me while she calls her backup OB.

She'd been hoping to get ahold of a colleague m/w in Boise last night but just our luck, she's apparently out of town. She has a good backup OB and it could have worked had she been there.

God I pray that her mw or any mw or doc can get it figured out already!!!

My gosh! I can't believe somebody dropped the ball so badly with this one. 120 is low, but not dangerous, at least. That's a positive.

Christine, I am not the praying type, but I am saying a prayer now for you and your sweet baby boy. I sure hope the medical establishment gets their heads out of their you-know-whats ASAP, and helps you . Lots of love, energy and light coming your way .
