I've had some good ones so far...add yours:

Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson
U and Ur Hand - Pink
and now...

Bills Bills Bills - Destiny's Child (he ruined my credit and never paid our bills).

What are yours?

Careful...it goes both ways!! LOL

DH has the Wicked Witch of the West theme that plays on his phone when his ex calls.

Personally, I have a cat wailing ring-tone when my ex-h calls, no particular reason other than is defintely differentiates his calls from others. (my son picked it out actually)

That is hilarious!

At the same time, I caution having different ringtones like this (negative ones) that the kids can pick up on. How sad to grow up knowing that your dad has the Wicked Witch of the West song play when mommy calls

Ex doesn't call so I don't need a ringtone for him

Yeah, I hear ya. Thankfully, when she calls his cell, it's when the kids are with her so they don't hear it.

I can only IMAGINE what my ex has for me on his phone!!! (LOL, we DO get along pretty well now though...)

mine plays the 'cops' theme song: bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you... i put it on when he got arrested. it's just the music, no lyrics and the kids are way too young to get the cultural reference.

Good point, I agree that we need to be careful. Sure is funny when the kids don't get it yet, though.

Since You Went Away by Peter Tork.

Since You Went Away

You said you couldn't tell the doormat from my face.
You said if I had brains I would pawn them.
Could be I've finally gotten up off of my thumbs,
Could be that you're the one that was on them.

'Cause the plants have grown,
The dog came home,
The bills are all getting paid,
Things are much better since you went away.
And I've changed my looks,
I read new books,
I've got friends that mean what they say,
Things are much better since you went away.

You said without your help I couldn't tie my shoes,
You said without a doubt I'd be stranded.
'Could be that you were right and you had to fly the coop,
'Could be the eagle finally has landed.

When I was younger I was told without another,
I'd be incomplete and deflated.
My chosen one has chosen to befriend another,
And to my surprise, I'm elated!

'Cause the plants have grown,
The dog came home,
The bills are all getting paid,
Things are much better since you went away.
And I've changed my looks,
I read new books,
I've got friends that mean what they say,
Things are much better since you went away.

Ha, great thread! Mine is I Will Survive. Seemed appropriate, and still does! I had several angrier ones on my shortlist, but I Will Survive seemed less angry and bitter and more empowering, kwim?

You mamas are far fancier than me. A few years ago, I had used my voice recorder and I scretched, "Ahhhhhh, he's calling".

I don't have that anymore. I really didn't want anyone else to hear it. It was just for me to know that he was calling. I only have a ring on that I don't use with anyone else. It's one of those annoying and fast moving tones that is like a mad tap dance.

You mamas are advanced!

Ha. Back in the day i had ringtones for H. DS is only now 3. H doesn't call the cell anymore, and if he does he uses a calling card, so it doesn't matter as it doesn't come up as a number. DS and i have our own fun with ringtones now. BUT, 3 years ago, there were a few:

Cry me a River -Justin Timberlake
Too Little, Too Late - Jo Jo
I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace
Leave (Get Out) - Jo Jo
These Boots are Made for Walkin' - both Nancy Sinatra, and Jessica Simpson at one time or another
Smile - Lily Allen
Fairy Tale - Sarah Barielles

So many more that may be a teeny bit meaner.... so i won't mention them.

For a while there was a phone number with the ring tune "Move B****" by Ludacris. I'll let you guess who that was.
Music makes me happy. LOL
