Someone can have my idea

I would make and sell these myself, but I have so much going on right now, I can't add another business to the table. I would really love to have some of these, so I figured other mothers might as well. Anyone is welcome to steal and sell my idea.

I had the idea to make some really easy and cute nursing buddy bras. I wanted something that would make breastfeeding while cosleeping easier. It's too difficult to have to wear a shirt AND a bra WITH nursing pads at night, so I've been sleeping topless with a diaper over my chest so I don't soak the mattress. This hasn't been easy, either since it's always falling off.

So my idea is a cute little tube top that can come in lots of colors. It would be made from stretchy jersey fabric and has nursing pads actually SEWN IN to the front. They would be so easy to sleep in and to nurse, you'd just pull it up or down and keep right on sleeping. They would be comfortable, easy to use, washable, and the best part is that you could wear them all the time - even with strapless dresses and tops (for us smaller-boobed girls, anyway).

I figure since they would be so easy to make, someone here would be able to throw some together and make a buck off of them on Etsy or something selling them in sets of two or three for $20.

ETA: Oh, and you could even sew pockets in them for added pads for those "heavy leakers"

No interest in making but that really is a great idea! I used to sleep with a diaper covering me too - but it'd fall off and I'd wake up in wet sheets. Great idea!

That is a great idea! I would totally buy a few of those! Definitely not looking forward to sleeping in nursing bras...no way! But I really don't like the idea of wet sheets, either! Your idea sounds awesome!

Somebody make some of these (for big busted women, too!) and I will buy them from you!

I would definately be interested in some, as well!! Don't have the time to make any, though...

You could always improvise and sew some pads into a belly band type thing if you really needed one right away. I agree it is an awesome idea!

This is an AWESOME idea. I think you could definitely sell these through cloth diaper/babywearing sites. Heck, you could even patent or copyright a name and design for this. Seriously! I can't sew at all, just saw this thread and wanted to give it a thumbs up!

I keep meaning to cut up my old t-shirts and sew in a terry panel from an old towel, but I've been so busy. I'd like to see if anyone else has done it, too!

What about sewing like a pocket into the band so you could stuff it as much as you need?
