I was in bed last night and I had a brilliant idea for my book

I was too tired to come down and write it down and of course now it's gone...grrrrrrrrrr

Does this kind of thing happen to you? Guess I should put a note book on my nightstand uh?

Sorry that happened!! Just a crazy thought, but you considered meditating or taking a nap today so you can reach that same quiet, relaxed mental state you were in when the idea came to you and perhaps piece it back together?

I definitely agree with keeping a tablet & (working) pen beside the bed - it can be a lifesaver!!

Ugh so frustrating. Yes that has happened to me. I now keep my iPhone by my bed and when I get an idea I put it in the notes feature. I hope you can remember it!

I remembered it! In fact at this point it's going to be an entire chapter..whew! I just sat down to write, finished up and it came to me..so I quick jotted it down to work on tomorrow night. But it's important and it's still brilliant!

In the meantime there is now a notebook and a pen beside my bed.

I have a notes section on my phone! What a great idea for when I'm out and about..I always have my phone with me. I'd never remember to take it upstairs though.

I use the alarm on my phone to wake up, that's the only reason I remember hehe. I'm glad that you remembered - yay!

I put a notepad by my bed and wrote 2 pages before I fell asleep....I am so glad...I seem to do that...write before bed, take a bit of time to wind down, then get in bed and get all sorts of ideas.

I am so looking forward to writing tonight
