SOO proud of my cousin, and me!!

So my cousin is going to Vegas for 3 days and leaving her 6 month old. She's been planning this trip for a long time and has been trying to pump enough milk to leave for him. She works full time and I know had some issues just pumping enough for him while she was at work. She only BFed her first two for a short time and I never thought she'd make it this long. I thought for sure she'd be done BFing when this trip happened. Well....she knows I have a mega stash and I've offered some of it to her many times, and I never thought she'd take me up on it. She emailed me today to ask for some milk for while she's gone. She said she knows if she starts formula, it will be the end of her BFing. I am so proud to be able to help.

Now I hope she can keep her supply up while she's gone!

i am so glad i haven't had to WOH full-time because i don't think i could've pumped enough to not have to use formula...luckily DD is now old enough that i can drop the pump without supplementing, but sheesh...you mamas who can pump a ton are so lucky!

Wow that's great! It's so awesome to hear about moms who will do anything to keep breastfeeding, and recognize that formula can start a downward spiral. Congrats to her for keeping the breastfeeding going, and that's awesome of you to be able and willing to donate milk to her!

Just let me know! I'd send some your way! I only WOH part time too, so I'm sure that's a big reason why I have been able to freeze so much. I used to pump once per day while I was home too.
