Burts Bees Radiance Exfoiliating Body Bar

I love this soap! The box says 100%, and most of the ingredients listed are oils (soybean oil, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil)

It really has a great lather. I was curious about what gives it such a rich lather, if it is made of all oils? Does anyone know?

All I know about Burt's Bees is that there are very few of their products I can use, due to lanolin, but the ones I can use I've liked.

soap is a chemical reaction between oils/butters and a lye solution (sodium hydroxide and water)...made properly, and the end result is a completely new substance...a salt...that is soap. so, all soap is make of oils...in your particular bar, those oils would give a great lather...some oil combos are so-so, some combos are fantastic...so it all depends on the mix and proportions of oils the soapmaker uses.
