Momma2libby i think you had a water breaking scheduled wed. so i'm sure by now you have had your LO. i hope everything is going ok and that you got your : and if not...that you had a beautiful experience anyways. Truly thinking of you and looking for an update everytime i come on here!

JunipersMom...seriously? I saw your recent update...your water broke days ago right? Longest labor ever, you're right! Hope things happen really soon and with that 100% effacement that you just laugh that baby out like ChristyH did.

Hi! I'm here... We had Naomi Rose by a repeat c-section on Wednesday May 14. While I am still grieving the natural birth that I had wanted, I am so very happy that she was healthy and that I am recovering well. We were discharged at 24.5 hours!!! The birth was a better experience than last time. My doctor let me have my birth photographer in the O.R. and I got to smell/touch/kiss on Naomi for a good 10 minutes before they took her to the nursery. She was born at 1:38 and I was nursing her in recovery at 2:05. I couldn't have asked for a better ceaseran birth.

I'm very glad the c-section went smoothly for you guys. I was hoping you'd get a chance to have your VBAC, but I know it doesn't always work out (even if you DO go into labor on your own!).

I did NOT want to be last!!! Oh well.. yeah after 4 days of start and stop labor with broken waters.. things started turning bad so I made the difficult decision to for-go my uc plans and headed to the hospital ~ also after several days of consulting midwife and ob friends. Long story short (i'll post a seperate birth story soon) baby boy born 10:05pm 5-15-08. 10 pounds 13 ounces, 20 inches.. Bowie James. Gorgeous red hair!!

congratulations momma2libby and for your grieving, i know that can take time, but i hope you can put it on hold for awhile and just babymoon and deal with that process when you have more energy/clarity. : on your little girl, so happy for you!!!!

Wow, momma2libby and JunipersMom, I have been thinking about you 2 all weekend! I am so glad your babies are here! Junipersmom - 10lb 13oz !!! wow, that's a big baby! were it not for atenthmuse and her whopper 12 pounder, that might've just won the record for biggest baby as well as last!

momm2libby - and congratulations. i'm so sorry you didn't get your VBAC, but it's wonderful to hear that you all are healthy and happy and that your recovery is going so smoothly.
