Labor Food....??

I remember earlier in my pregnancy reading about a restaurant that claimed a labor guarantee for its eggplant parmesan and decided to look up what it was about it that was supposed to work and then drag DH to Olive Garden... but I did one better, I found a news article on the place and they actually list the recipe! I guess tomorrow I am going grocery shopping for eggplant!

Thought I would share!

Thanks SR, just sent that to the husband as a request for dinner tomorrow night. Regardless if it works, I LOVE eggplant! :

Me too, maybe we will both have our eggplant babies after dinner tomorrow!

I think it is the herbs in the recipe that can send you into labor. So anything with a lot of basil might start contractions. Pesto, anyone?

Mmmmm... eggplant.

Yeah, apparently it's the basil and parsley.

I've never heard of this recipe, but I did make a pot of hearty, spicy chili that sent my sister into labor!

Watch out with the parsley! It can kill milk supply. Not something you want happening if you're about to have a newborn.

But basil... mmmm.....
