Congratuations mama!!! Afterpains suck, but should be gone in 4-5 days (and much improved after about 2). At least that's how mine went!

Oh my goodness, I missed this update and am just seeing it now after going digging (you've been on my mind, I was getting worried!)! Whoops!

Congratulations on your little boy and it sounds like it was a lovely birth (aside from that back labour). Hope you are soaking up every wonderful moment of your babymoon with him

My last son had a bruised face, he was posterior too and then flipped as I was pushing. It was a trip, I felt him bounce off my hip bone even through my epidural (pre - MDC)

Glad his birth went so well! Isn't it nice to not have stitches/tears??? Have a lovely babymoon mama!
