How has TF diet affected your weight and/or physique?

Up? Down? Belly fat - more or less? I'm asking as a newbie who has been following the recommendations in Eat Fat, Lose Fat for a couple of weeks now (mostly the fat and the broths, still working on the others). It was so hard at first to let all that fat cross my lips, but now that I'm over that, YUM! Just wondering if anyone has lost weight with this diet.

I have been kind of following it, not really, but increasing fat, trying not to eat between meals, etc. What I have found is that it is REALLY easy to eat too many calories on this diet and that I have to be REALLY careful. I was hoping this would get easier as I ate fat longer and my body's hunger mechanism regulated a bit. And maybe it has, but I still am pretty careful. I have lost 1-2 lbs. I don't know if it is so much the diet that is helping me lose weight, but TF and the diet help me FEEL good.

I think it depends a lot on your eating style. I love food, far too much for my own good, and I have to really restrict either the type or the amount of food I eat to lose weight. It doesn't matter if it's TF food or not, although my insides are definitely happier with the TF.

TF diet made me lose belly fat and I'm noticing that I don't have cellulite. How weird is that? I totally used to have it on my thighs and I was looking in the mirror the other day and it's not there.

I've been finding how satisfied I am after eating. Before I remember having ot really fill my belly before I'd have that 'ahhhh, so full' feeling but now I can get that from just eating a good quality TF meal. My breakfasts have been three fried eggs and quite satisfying.

I did lose weight on it because I put the priority on the fat and the protein and the greens and not so much on starches and carbs. It got a lot easier to do that when I cut out gluten and corn. I lost more weight since too. I also got pregnant so this experiment has been cut short.

I lose weight very easily on TF IF I cut out sugar and grains. However, that is easier said than done. I have no problem cutting out the grains...it is the sugar the I have issues with. Even if it IS raw honey or maple syrup or agave. My body really reacts to any sweetener.

Can't fully answer this yet- but I am with Serena on the cellulite issue. Mine is slowly dissapearing! Not nearly as much as there used to be.

I think you do have to find what works and does not, for you. I do best with portion control, not many sweets. Although I love chocolate.
