Just watched it. Was surprised that by how good it actually was. Anyone else?

I was planning to watch it tonight, actually. I'm not expecting to like it that much, but we'll see...

I thought it was good. DH and I didn't like the ending though.

I felt the same way about the ending but the movie was good. and the soundtrack is really neat.

I really enjoyed the movie. I didn't see the twist at the end coming (I never do ). Very bittersweet.

I always like to remind people that Kimya Dawson (soundtrack) is a MDC mama. How cool is that?

Dh and I both LOVED Juno!

Generally, I liked it... but I didn't find the main character at all believable.

What was the twist at the end? Don't worry, I love spoilers.

The music really made the movie.

It was really good!

I just read (most of) the script online. Wow. I didn't think I'd like it (and maybe I won't, when I SEE it), but I LOVED (reading) it.

It was a good movie I think. Parts of it seemed odd, but overall I liked it. The kids really enjoyed it. It was very well acted.

This will likely get moved to the Movies forum...

No, and I won't be seeing it.

I was surprised that I did like it. DH did too actually.

IMO the music was the only good thing about it.

I had high expectations (I'm very pro-adoption) but I felt that the movie ignored many important issues regarding adoption.

I like the artsy feel it tried to create, but the ambivalence which the characters dealt with the topic bothered me.

i went in with pretty low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. i really enjoyed it. i found the witty teen-speak a bit annoying at times and pretty unbelieveable (i don't know any teens who talk like that), but loved it nonetheless. very bittersweet. i cried and cried at the end (don't think i would have if i wasn't a mom).

What happens at the end?

I agree. I found this very distracting, but enjoyed the movie anyway. I loved loved loved the ending. I kept waiting for her to....oops, nevermind, not going to spoil it. I'll just say that it ended as it should.

I have wanted to see this movie since it came out, have been anxiously awaiting its arrival on the movie channels, but by this statement I am assuming that it is pro-adoption? I must be blind, but from the previews I had no clue that it had anything to do with adoption.

Can someone please PM me and tell me what the ending is? Now I won't be able to watch it until I know. I am adopted, and if it ends with an adoption I am not going to be able to watch it.
