Everything he has ever learned about listening, safety, cooperation, picking up after ourselves, consideration, respect, etc.... has been lost.

I know it's a notoriously difficult year but Damn. I'm still not sure how I'll handle the next half of it.

the terrible two's were nothin'. my 3 1/2yo is currently having a massive whine fit about having a cup of water. he's had 3 cups in the last 15 min, i have calmly told him at least 4 times that he needs to stop whining... i am strongly considering the possibility that he needs an early nap! and my 5yo is whining at me that the 3yo whining is "annoying"!!! i feel like turning around and yelling "no s***, kid, i've noticed it's annoying!" but i am instead trying the ignoring thing and taking deep breaths while doing a bit of whining myself, right here!
