We bought a new bed a couple of years ago. Buying locally meant buying a stadard foam mattress. But I thought since the mattress cover would help it wouldn't be so bad.
Dh bought an expensive mattress cover. I had to have it replaced and the company exchanged it for a new one. I then realized that the mattress cover has teflon in it

So which is better of the two evils do you think? Using the mattress cover to protect from the chemicals in the mattress, or leaving the mattress cover off, laying down a thick wool blanket as a protector and having more access to the mattress chemicals?
