Quick Knitting Question--I think this pattern is wrong

you have a bunch of stitches on your left needle (the exact # isn't relevant), your right needle is empty.

you bind off two stitches, then you knit two stitches. how many stitches are on your right needle now?

i'm pretty sure that this pattern is wrong for this particular row; i'm not getting the correct # of stitches when the row is finished and i've done it several times. But since i'm kind of new at this I want to make sure that I'm doing the above part correctly.

TIA

If you BO 2 then knit 2, you should have 3 on your needle.

Binding off two actually involves knitting three. Since I don't know what you're supposed to end up with, I don't know if you should knit two more, or consider the third stitch you knit after the bound off two as stitch one and knit one more.

three and you should be down 5 on the left needle.

The knit 2 after the BO section is a separate instruction and should involve 2 "new" stitches from the left needle.

good, i thought i was right. the pattern is off. i had to end up adjusting it a little, but i don't think it made a big difference in the final result.
