I want to start a Children's clothing and toy business. . .

Hey! I have this vision for selling my home-made, Waldorf inspired children's clothing and toys! I want to start a business!! Where do I start??? What do I do??? I was thinking about only selling online, and catalog, and maybe local shops around here (in MN) Is this what others have done? How can I become successful in a sea of Natural toys and things?? I'm looking for advice, anyone done this?
