Just wanted to post that our new baby girl, Jaclyn Sarah was born on the 15th at 11:52am. She's 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 22 inches. I was due May 1st and labor started with contractions coming every ten minutes Tuesday, May 13th at 9pm. After laboring at home with my wonderful midwife until Thursday morning for nearly 30 hours, I decided it was time to transfer to a hospital. I was 9cm with an anterior lip. I caved in for an epidural and slept for an hour. Then at around 11am my water broke and there was heavy meconium, I decided that it was critical to get the baby out so I got a c-section. I'm still really processing the whole thing and sad about my lost HBAC. But I love my new little girl and I'm glad that she's healthy.

Try to rest and allow yourself to heal, emotionally and physically from her birth. For now, just lots of snuggles with that sweet little one and enjoy your babymoon.
