When did you first get out of the house w/baby? - Page 2

We went with DH to the ped 3 times his first week home, practically did me in. Then friday of week 2 a trip to the store. Today an Alanon meeting.

I tend not to get out too much too. With DD my nerves just are on edge from the moment I start thinking about getting us all ready and out of the house. Makes me shudder.

I was hoping for 3 weeks at home, but my DH was about to loose it if I asked him to run one more errand for me.

Day 2. Went shopping. I was out every day after that with the baby doing various things... lots of shopping though. Apparantly being postpartum makes me wanna shop.

LOL, I am waiting for this to happen with my DH! So far he is holding steady but I sense the end of being at my beck and call is drawing a little nearer each moment!

We went to the mall on day 3. Dh was with us so that was GREAT! We've been out quite a bit since then. It's really hard getting out though with a toddler and a newborn. I need to get out again soon. I'm going a bit crazy this week.

We're on day 6, and not leaving home anytime soon.

and does having a UC in a log cabin, then needing to come home on day 3 count?
