Whereabouts do you buy your salmon? I would like to start including more of it in our diets, but I'm not sure where to find a clean source that doesn't completely break the bank (too much anyways).

b- organic potatoes from farmer's market, slathered with butter and salt and scrambled eggs. organic/fairtrade coffee with cream
snack- strawberries we picked yesterday
l- leftover cabbage/beef stew from yesterday. Most likely a piece of ezekiel toast with it, buttered. I will add some too-salty sauerkraut from 3 months ago to season.
snacks- maybe yogurt, apples, tea
d- roast chicken. cauliflower with a sort of olive tapenade (new recipe from our csa) and a salad with most likely a raw wine vinegar-flax-walnut oil dressing, leftover feta, onions, radishes, crispy almonds

I've only had breakfast so far, so this is what I plan to have today- looking in our fridge.

YUM!! reading this thread is making me drool. it's pretty amazing to read about all this wonderful food y'all have been eating. we've been gone this weekend so, although we ate delicious food, much wasn't really tf. although we did have a locally and sustainably raised leg of lamb that was barbecued! and this amazing creamy strawberry mousse thing-- can't wait to try it w/ raw cream. and lots of pastured eggs, i guess. we had quinoa and veggies for lunch today with lots of homegrown veggies. so, i guess we did pretty well, considering. we are so blessed with good food.

Yesterday:

Breakfast: milkshake with milk, honey, egg, coconut oil and banana and a hardboiled egg

Lunch: 2 slices homemade roasted veggie pizza (dough not TF) an egg

Dinner: homemade baked beans (and they were delic!), bbq'd veggies, corn totrilla, cream, salsa - I passed on the bbq'd meat. Don't like it.

Dessert: coconut custard and tea

Today:

Breakfast: milkshake with milk, honey, agave, egg, coconut and blueberries
Lunch: nothing so far... not very hungry... will prob have an egg later. We haven't done so well today. I'm not feeling too good and am out of a few ingredients. Dd didn't want an egg for lunch so I let her have some of dh's cereal At least it's unsweetened and has raw milk with it right? Later: I finally ate some raw cheese, tomato, kimchee and bread and butter for lunch. Dd didn't eat her cereal and had some cheese and applesauce and bread and butter with fruit spread.
Dinner: sloppy joe's and oven french fries with ketchup. Had dessert too.... um... it was really yummy.... confession.... bowl of organic vanilla icecream and one newman's choc sandwich cookie

Thanks for all the inspiration! i want to eat TF but have been in a total slump. i'd love some of your recipes, if you care to post them. thanks!!
Lentil soup recipe that everyone in our family loves is:
2 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Saute in butter until soft and fragrant in large soup pot
Add about 4c stock, 1c dried tomatoes (or equivalent), 2 cups soaked brown or green lentils and 2 bay leaves (If I have a parmesan rind, that is always great to throw in while it cooks).
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour. Remove bay leaves, season accordingly.
We puree it slightly with a hand blender, then add sausage and kale and let it simmer for about another 15 minutes. We grate fresh parmesan regg. on top. So good.

This is really fun seeing what everyone is eating. I am going to have to go back and re-read and try to make some of it...

Ok, so today....

Breakfast - Milkshake with raw milk, raw egg, honey, 2 bananas, cinnamon and nutmeg grated on top, Oh and we added cream to it so with that and the extra banana it was super creamy. Dd also had a fruit leather.

Lunch - custard made with eggs, coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg (I guess it was a "let's eat creamy things" day)

Snack - a newman's own sandwich cookie - darn those things being in the house

Dinner -

Garlic soup - about 5 cloves sauteed garlic in butter (tho for this I usually use olive oil. I'm out of olive oil tho), jar of beef stock, jar of water, rapunzal brand buillion, diced carrots, some fresh parsley, pepper and some barley

Grilled Cheese made with fresh farmer's cheese (from pastured cows, but it is pasturized cheese - but that's ok for grilled cheese) on sourdough bread with lots of fresh bright yellow spring butter

Mixed Greens (spinach, chard, arugula) steamed over 4 or 5 cloves of sauteed garlic, sauteed in butter

DD also had a few bites of leftover meat from sloppy joes, an orange and some more custard

We also always have our daily "fishy treats" as dd calls them
