Just got sample formula in the mail

I just got a box with cans of sample formula in the mail from Enfamil. It's pretty big, the size of a shoe box. I don't want it or need it nor am I sure how it got sent to me, but what should I do with it? Should I throw it away or pass it along to someone else? I feel strange passing it along since I'm such a strong advocate of breastfeeding and oppose those samples they give out in hospitals and clinics.

Give it to the local food bank mama.

Even if you don't agree w/ bottle feeding, there are babies out there who ARE bottle fed and whose mother's are not lactating and these babies need food too. :

I dump it down the drain, remove the labels from the cans, and use them for storing things.

ETA: You could always mark return to sender on the package. And write breastfeeding mom with a marker on it.

Or the food bank is a good idea.

I give my "free" formula to Social Services.

My babe is 11 months old and I STILL get formula cans in the mail (I don't know how by the way, someone tell me!) and I donate them to the food pantry in our township.

I would give it to your local domestic violence shelter for someone who had to leave with nothing and hasn't applied for WIC yet.

There's a food closet at my church...I'll give it to them.
