Stolen Innocence: My Story of Growing Up in a Polygamous Sect, Becoming a Teenage Bride, and Breaking Free of Warren Jeffs by Elissa Wall
I bought it yesterday and it is quite interesting. I am about to start ch. 10.
Anyone else reading it?

I think I'm going to see if my local library has it. It sounds like a really interesting read.

I read Escape, by Carolyn Jessop, regarding her life in the FLDS community. Very interesting (and sad.)

Not yet, but it's on my wish list.

I'm reading it. I've always been interested in unusual religions and lifestyles. Unfortunately, this book is SOOO poorly written that it's taking me some time to get through.

The book lists a co-writer, so I don't understand why it's not better written?

OTOH, I dearly, fervently hope that this author and the author of Escape both earn loads of money for their books. They certainly deserve secure lives now, and if they have more than they need, I have little doubt that they'll use it to help others who want to get out of the FLDS.
