I've had days where I've had 1-3 hours of consistent, regular ctx before, today I'm on hour 6 of still having ctx, although they come and go from being regular/strong (and usually when they ARE regular they're only a few min. apart each) to few/weak/far between. However, I DID just check myself and I've probably dilated at least 1-1.5 cm more from what I was when I checked last night (so that would put me at maybe 3-4 total). So I'm not sure what to make of it. Happy to see the cervical progress, of course, but the coming and going of ctx makes me wonder if they'll just go away any time now and I'll be "done" laboring for a few days to a couple weeks. They just aren't picking up in intensity or duration, so I feel like I'm REALLY not going anywhere.

here's a guide to help you figure out dilation.

Hmmm I'd wonder about the intensity changing. That could be a sign of the ol' prodromal. But, on the positive side, some women have prodromal that changes into active. And if you're dialating than things may be picking up for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

How are things going now? Are you still having cntx that are sporadic? Or are you in labor land? Here's hoping for the latter!
:
:I wish. I had several REALLY strong ctx last night at the end (after about 6-7 hours total) and then they pretty much stopped for the night.
SOOOOO irritating. I've had a seemingly constant "tight" belly for the past week or so, and definitely more ctx's overall, but this "faking me out" stuff is just getting on my nerves.
So far nothing much at all today. A few stronger ctx but absolutely nothing I'd think twice about. My cervix hasn't changed since the last time I checked either (but like I said, it DID change during the ctx at some point yesterday...although that's not longer good enough for me
).
