You know what....my toddler pee's in public every time we go to the park and every time he pee's in the yard and where ever else his little heart desires....geez that would take such self control not to follow that car and take that sticker off...or hey better than that...sit in front of the car and nurse our babies and toddlers....lol

I totally don't get it...why does that person CARE enough to put a sticker on their car about it? Why is it so personal for them? You should have sharpied the sticker.

I think it is an argument for the "nursing is natural "

Ahem, keep a razor handy and cut off all but the Nursing is natural part LOL

I'd be willing to bet that car belongs to some young boy who just thought it was funny as he**

When I was pg with ds, my brother came up with the same nonsense. "Yeah, well, if you're going to breastfeed in front of me, then I should be able to pee wherever I am, like in the living room."

I told him, "I guess all the family gatherings are going to be at your house from now on, then."

(He's totally fine with my nursing in front of him now, btw. He never made a comment after ds was born.)

Are you serious? That was on a bumper sticker? Who or what organization would sponsor such a statement?

I'm at a loss for words...how ignorant.

Um...urinating in public is illegal, I believe. Nursing is not (they're not even talking about NIP).

Yeah. I can understand pro-BFing bumper stickers. Or no bumper sticker. But an anti-BFing sticker? Why?

I hate it when people compare nursing to urinating or having sex in public. Nursing is EATING. Surely these people eat in public.

off to do some googling... I'm gonna get to the bottom of this!

: That doesn't make any sense why someone would have that. It boggles the mind.

Ignorant people abound.

I have the same visceral reaction to "pro-life" bumper stickers. Instead of letting them raise my blood pressure or doing something that will put me in jail, every time I see one, I take out my checkbook and make a donation to NARAL. Maybe you could do something similar for LLL?

The most glaring flaw in the logic, for lack of a better term, is that the pee lands on the ground (or worse) whereas the milk has an intended target so there is very little risk of someone unwittingly stepping in it.

And the chances of some inadvertent spray with nursing is probably about as likely as a mis-fired sneeze, which is a risk everyone takes in public every day.

How big was the sticker? Or was it just small text? 'Cause that's a long statement for a bumper sticker....

I don't understand confrontational stickers.

And here's the bizarre thought I just had. I live in an area where men with big trucks put fake testicles on the back of them. Ever think of putting breasts on the front of your car? No? I didn't think so.....
