Shall the 9 out of 11 of us that haven't delivered whine together? I noticed 5/15 has the most moms due, but only 2 of us are on the other side... and we're at 41 weeks today!

Baby will come when she is ready, I'll be patient.

k ill whine with you too. i don't know if i can handle 42 weeks!!!! i mean, i can, of course...im gonna have to go into hiding from the world.

my midwife says she can strip my membranes on tuesday if i want...i guess i should, right? it seems that brain function seems to alter a bit at this stage in pregnancy.

she also told me that she had a woman who had all 3 of her babies at 46 weeks!!!!! and all were cooked just right. so goes to show each woman's body and baby are unique. that kinda made me feel better, kinda.

I would absolutely NOT allow membrane stripping without medical reason. There is a good chance of accidentally breaking your water, which would put you on the clock. Not a good thing.

Babies come when ready.

My baby was born 5/29 after 36 hours of labor and an emergency c-section following a hospital transfer from the birth center. She's here but not home -- still on IV antibiotics until Thursday a.m. I'll post more details later.
