Teluuride bluegrass fest?

I've never been but want to go see Ani this year. Has anyone ever been? I was thinking about not staying in any of the campgrounds but actually going somewhere else like Ouray to spend the night.

Any tips for this particular even with babies? Anyone know if I need to purchase a ticket for a babe?

I'm going!!! Bought tickets a couple of months ago.
Sorry I can offer no advice and my 4yo is staying with her grandparents so this is officially my first vacation without her!!!
I have been to many festivals with her when she was a babe and they were always really easy...I wore her in a wrap all day and night long. She often slept to the music better than she ever slept at home.
Anyways, I have heard that Telluride is VERY baby and kid friendly. I have heard suggestions that it is best to camp with kids in the National Forest rather than the town park areas if that helps.
Can wait to see Ani again...along with many many many other of my very very very favourites!!!!!

Thanks, I did write them and they said kids under 12 were free with paying adults. The camping info is helpfull because the places online are 150 for a camper and 50 for tents.
That seems a little hight to me.

Oh how fun. Have you ever been to Telluride? You are in for a treat. And to see Ani! Most festivals around here, kids are free 12 and under. Have so much fun. I was just thinking about Ani because Utah Phillips just died and she did an album with him. sniff sniff.

She's not but they always seem to get some folk, indie, alternative type folks mixed in with their bluegrass line up.

Here is the list you wanted.

I have been to Telluride Bluegrass! It is one of the best festivals out there, if not THE best. VERY kid friendly. I have tix to go this year but I'm not positive I'm going yet. 7 hours of driving alone w/ my 3YO is not sounding appealing. I thought I was gonna be able to go without him, but plans fell thru. Telluride is also one of the most beautiful places in the country as well. Have an awesome time!! Make sure to bring hats and sunscreen.

Send the tickets my way if you don't use them as it's a one hour drive for me!
