Angela- I have to admit that I've been stalking you all weekend! LOL! Just this morning my husband was looking over my shoulder and he asked me "who's alegna?" I said "a woman I'm stalking." LOL!

Come on baby! Get out of there! We want to meet you! It's a nice day to be born

It's a LOVELY day to be born. I think I'm going to go swimming and see if that will coax him out.

I let dd nurse for nearly half an hour straight this morning... she was in heaven Didn't do a darn thing that I can tell...

Wow! I'm not nursing currently but just expressing the colostrum can give me BH ctx. Maybe try a really strong infusion of red raspberry leaf tea? Like, get 20 bags of the stuff and make sun tea with it?

I found nursing did nothing for me either until contractions started... but then I had prodromal and nursing TOTALLY brought on consistent labour. Maybe soon the nursing will start to shift things!

Cool! It wasn't me.... I'm way too cheap for a personalized license plate...

Hmmm, interesting. With dd I had NO contractions before labor started in earnest though (well, besides BH, but I've had those for months...)

Sigh.

I'll let her nurse a ton tonight too and see how it goes.

I was wondering whether you hadn't updated your signature.

But reading this thread it appears that you have to update BABY -- let baby know that it's time to come out! Baby will be born to a famous internet icon!

Yeah, darn baby must not be receiving updates.... 'cause everybody and their brother has told him in no uncertain terms to get his little heiny out here...

Yep. It's mom's first lesson in the patience needed to BE a mom. The whole loss of control. "That's right mom, I wear the pants... no matter what you tell yourself"

Angela...

I have been keeping up with your story and I just can't believe how calm and cool you are about this...I feel like I might claw somebodys eyes out if I were so far past my due date. I am only slightly past mine and I'm ready to kill the next person who says "Oh my god, you look like you're about to explode!". Ugh.

I know due dates don't really mean anything...but damn, physcologically, they SOOO do...I wish I never had an EDD, that way maybe I wouldn't feel so yucky...ugh.

Good luck and lots o labor vibes to you...I hope it's soooo soon. Well, I guess we know it'll be soon...but I hope it's SUPER soon!
