Although none of the colors really appeal to me

is it in the stores yet or just online?

Though I wouldn't buy it, partly because the colors don't appeal to me, but mostly because I'd rather get dental work than put wool on my feet, it is nice to see someone make sock yarn for a gal on a budget like me.

Now, if only they'd make it in, say 70% cotton, 15% nylon, 5% lycra, I'd empty my Joann's stock! Or better yet, a bamboo sock yarn with no wool <<drool>>...

Sweet!! I've been waiting for it since Yarn Harlot tested it. I'd totally buy all the colors!

My Joann's in Phoenix didn't have it.

I stopped on my way home from OT with Thing 1 today. Hey - I had to stop at the hockey store for Thing 2 as well, so I figure we all got an "errand" today

I did get white fun fur to make a skunk hat. I have the hat bit done and now I'm going to knit a fun fur panel to sew to the top. This way there aren't fun fur bits all on the inside of the hat

ooh I like the colors and the yardage is good. I knit some socks with the Austermann Stepp with Jojoba & Aloe and they were such a dream to knit - I'll have to look at my Joann's and AC Moore to see if I can find it.

My local Hobby Lobby doesn't have it yet. I called right after posting.

It's not available for purchase yet on their website either...but it was featured in this week's newsletter.

I'm curious if the addition of aloe is as nice as the austermann step. I'd definitely prefer the price point!!

In their last newsletter - they have pictures of finished socks in them in all the colorways I believe.

This is the red hots - http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70...tml?noImages=0

I *think* this should link you to the picture of all the finished items

Stephanie Pearly-McPhee gave it a pretty good review.

I have to agree, those colorways are none too exciting.

I'd definitely try it in the future, though, if they made some more interesting colorways. Right now I have tons and tons of sock yarn though -- and not enough time to knit it, although if I got my butt off MDC...
