I'd like to get a clip on chair for my baby. (We won't need this for quite some time, but... I'm obsessing about being prepared.) It would clip on the dining room table, which is wood. We are going to refinish the surface and will try to find a food-safe finish. But if we wanted to put food out on a tray, what kind of tray should we use? I thought that a sheet of stainless might be a good idea, but this might be hard to find and interfere with the clip on chair. What about a silicon baking mat? Or should we just not get a mat/tray and trust the wood surface? Ideas? Experience? Thanks!
