when can you tell its twins?

I was pondering getting my 20 week ultrasound, but i keep getting that twin feeling. When do you consider that it might be twins? other than ultrasounds.

right now (17 weeks tomorrow) my uterus is well above belly button when bladder is empty. at least 2 finger widths. I always measured small with DD. I don't go back to MW until 20 weeks. and i am 100% certain of dates as we were charting.

what other signs could i be watching for.

often a mom pg with twins will experience much more intense symptoms. such as alot more morning sickness, extreame fatigue, even hungrier that normal, and so on.

Also at this point in a 2nd pregnancy you likely are feeling movement, twin often have you feeling alot more movement than you would feel with one, like you feel a kick on one side and the complete oposite side at the same time!

also you may already be gaining more weight than would be expected at this point

just what comes to mind off the top of my head at this late hour!

Bumping cause I'm still curious to see any other answers as well (I'm almost 12 weeks and measuring 15-16).
