Things are slow, but steady. Lost probably all of my plug. Contractions are 5-8 minutes apart. Lasting about a minute. Getting stronger, but still not too horrible. Birth pool is set up, but not filled. Midwife is waiting for when I feel I need her, not there yet. I'm excited.

Don't be jealous. 49 hours after the contractions really got going and I'm still pregnant. No contractions at all since last night. Last successful cervical check (midwife's assistant tried before she left, but baby is very high and she has short fingers, so could feel cervix, but not enough to check) I was 4. Everyone has gone home. Said to just take it easy, don't force it. I have to say I'm pretty depressed.
