I was just at a streetfair and saw some gorgeous underwear and it made me realize how unhappy I am with all my cheap store bought underwear. Anybody make their own? Or know where I could get a good pattern?

I have Ottobre 4/04 and it is full of great undie patterns for girls and boys. it'll set you back about $15 but if you actually make them it will pay for itself quickly.

I am pretty sure both Jalie & Kwik Sew have good underwear patterns.

I've seen some tutorials on Craftster, using old tshirts and elastic. Cute!

So funny I stumbled across this thread... I just found two BIG sheets at the SA down the street and they are PERFECT undie material. I just don't know where to get soft elastic....

I've made quite a few pair of panties. I bought a ton of elastic from a lady on ebay a few years ago. She sent me nice assortment, 1 lb of FOE, underwear and lingerie elastic. can't remember her name though.

I've made a bunch from old t-shirts. The kids love them and even fight over old t-shirts to be made into their size undies. For an adult pattern, you could just use your current fav. and cut the seams out, trace them and add back the seam allowance.
