Hello, this is my first posting, and I'm very happy to have found MotheringDotCommune! Anyway, does anyone happen to know if superwash wool is a breathable fabric? I know there are different methods for making wool machine washable, one of which is covering the wool with a plastic resin substance, that method, I imagine, prevents the wool from being a breathable fabric. However there are other methods to make wool more easily washable without the use of plastic, like physically grinding down the fiber's scales. I imagine this type of super wash wool is breathable, but can someone confirm this for me and tell me where I can find batting in this type of wool? Thanks for your help!
