Did anyone else get into this show? I was so afraid it wasn't coming back on, but saw a quick preview the other day. I didn't catch when it starts, though. Anyone know? I can't wait...

New episodes of Private Practice aren't coming back until the new fall season.

This summer it looks like it will be a lot of new reality shows.

I got into this show and was wondering if it was coming back at all. Having such a big gap in seasons is a sure way to use viewers though!

Yay! I'm glad to hear it's coming back! I loved this show! I'll join the conversation once it starts!

It was good to see "her" (i'm so bad with names- the main woman) back on Grey's Anatomy for an episode. But I LOVED her red hair and on GA it was brown. : I hope they change it back to red for the new season this fall!

I love the red hair too. Thought she looked all wrong as a brunette. Tina~

What is up with Charlotte & who was that guy who came in at the end of the show?
Yeah, that's gonna be crazy! I think she's going to work for a practice that is starting in the same building as The Practice. lol. Competing and stuff. Should be interesting.

This season is pretty good so far.

I thought I heard somewhere that Private Practice was canceled?
not that I can see. There was speculation a year ago & during the writer's strike, but from what I can tell is has not been cancelled

So, question inspired by last night's episode:

Would you have interfered and told those women about their poly husband? Or put them in a room like Addison did?

I personally think she went over the line. Yes, what he did was very, very wrong... but as a doctor, I'm just not sure it was any of her business. I think I would have stayed the heck out of it.

Thoughts?

i have to admit, i'm a little bit torn. i do think she crossed a line but i think i would have appreciated knowing if it was me. i don't think that i would have done what addison did; i like to think that i would have brought violet in on the situation and let her handle it with her expertise. but man, would i be pissed if that were my husband!!!!!!!!!!!!

My question is this...why did the woman who had her baby, lay on her back, feet in stirrups, hair in a hairnet...? We didn't see her get an epidural..so why birth like that? Also, wtf is up with the hairnet anyway??!! I certainly did NOT wear a hairnet when i gave birth ::

AND Addison should have invited in the midwifery student guy to assist!
she wasn't on her back, but that sitting up, feet in stirrups, etc is still how alot of women give birth. Addison is very westernized with how she practices. She's come a little bit but not much. no idea on the hairnet.lol

I think the midwifery student(what is his name?) will have some respect now that they know he has a child of his own & is raising her by himself. He definitly has had zero respect which was why he left in the first place. I didn't get the big deal on why Addison wouldn't let him clear the boxes out of that 1 space, it is obviously supposed to be an office.

Addison definitly crossed a line, she let her personal feelings get in the way.

Del.

I like him. I still refer to him as "Piz" half the time because that was his character on Veronica Mars.

yeah - I wish she'd let Del come in for the birth... I wish she'd give him a little more respect. they beg him to come back and then they still treat him exactly the same.
