how many whirls?

I have heard that kids with 2 whirls in their hair are more of a handful as compared to one whirl.
Does your little one(s) have 1 or 2 (or other) whirls and what gender, and what personality (like mellow or high-maintenence)?

Just one, he's a boy and very mellow.

My little guy has two fairly close together on his forehead which make his hair come down in a cute little point (or curl after bath-time) on his forehead. He's very mellow (although he would perfer to be in our arms at all times, which I think is good).

mine has two. at 6 weeks, she has consistently been very relaxed. she is so alert, and definitely loves to be held all the time (which is sweet) but she is so chilled out. i had never seen a baby with two before!

Oh, um I just figured out that you meant whirls, not cowlicks. Oops! Mine just has one!

1 whirl and so far has been a bigger challenge then any of my other kids. Reflux and colicky and such a screamer!

Mine has one, boy and is a velcro baby fuss budget.

DD--one whirl, somewhat high needs
DS--one whirl, pretty laid back

DD had one very mellow
DS1 had one and had bad reflux other than that pretty easy going and still is.
DS2 has one and is very mellow but he does have a temper when you make him mad WOO

Lynden and Raina both just have one whirl. Lynden was a very chilled-out baby, Raina seems to be the same.

DS had two on the crown of the head and was so much more difficult than DD. DD has one on the crown of the head, and one on the front, but she's relaxed until she's unhappy, the she screams until she gets what she wants

What is a whirl?

Well, I say you all debunked that myth!

mynetname, by whirls I mean the swirl of the hair in the middle/back of the head.
I thought maybe 'cowlick' was the correct term for it, but that's more in the front, right?

My dd's have one and are not mellow, but they are not nearly the crazy tasmanian devil that is my ds - who has 2.

anyway...on to more important mothering issues
