No kidding!

Still no sign of impending labor. I got TONS done today, and it's not over yet. Feeling good today, actually. Last night was rough, but I'm much more Zen during the day. I don't ever get disappointed during the day - just more time to get stuff done and keep my little slice of the world clean. I'm actually hoping the baby comes once I'm done with my projects around the house now, and who knows when that will be?

I've been walking my feet off, Sat - took a long walk to the university and then up to a resturant and back, Sun - wlked around the zoo all dang day, today- did laps around the mall (:Puke) because it was rainy.

I was as grumpy as a bear yesterday (I actually had the thought "I wish people would quit smiling at me!") but I'm much more relaxed today.

Well still here. Got my house completely clean again today. which really helps my zen overall. I even got down and scrubbed the shower floor. and it needed it. was up at 5:30 am for a memorial service my back as killing me during that. and I have had the real crampy gassy feel two or three times today where I have to go poo but not really and it really hurts while I am sitting there. but no real contractions today. my parents leave today and my mom wont be able to come back for a couple of days. so he will probably decide to be born then cause my mom cant be there. dad starts a 10 day shift tommorow... so i was wishing today would be the day or last night or the night before.... but he will come when he comes and i am okay with that for the most part. very interested to see if i have made progress cervix wise afer contractions for 4 hours the other night. we will see go to the doctors tommorow. for my 39 week appt. hopefully things happen sometime. lol. Also been walking my feet off. we walk about 4 miles every night. my dog absolutly loves it. she gets so excited when we put on our coats and walking shoes. and starts pawing the ground its really cute.

Whole lotta nothing still. Did a few things around here then went and swam and hung out at my parents' house.

Tonight. Come one. Let's get something going tonight. Dh and my mom both really don't want to go to work tomorrow

majormajor - that's great that you have a family like that.

cat - I've had the gassy/crampy thing constantly since Thursday and the pain in my arse will not let up. It's driving me nuts! It's hurts all the time, especially when I try and go to the bathroom.

I just spent 2 hours in the neighbors pool, can you say HEAVEN! Oh, it was wonderful. No pressure, no cramping and the horrid pain in my arse was gone. Ahh...I want to stay in there until the baby comes. I don't like that pruney feeling but it was so worth it. The baby was moving around more than he has in a long time, I wonder what it felt like for him.

My clock is ticking here, but I'm ok with it so far. That of course could change in a minute, but for right now I'm at peace. We need a Zen smiley! It just doesn't seem real that by Wednesday night I'll have my baby, hopefully in my arms!

Thinking of all of you mamas that are left and sending you : especially you Angela!

Wow theres quite a few of us for it being May 26th! Im 39w2d. My feet are swollen today for the first time. Lots of bad food for the holiday though, so hoping to be better tomorrow. I dont really feel "close" but I never did last time either. Just tired. And tired of being tired. Everytime I wake up im surprised its not labor. I drive myself crazy as much as all the questions when I go out.

Here's a snippet of an email I received from my sister today:

"This baby reminds me of the flower in the Little Prince (did you ever read that?). She spent days preparing herself before she finally bloomed. She wouldn't come out until her petals were meticulously arranged, she had to be perfect."

Awww!

I feel like I'm dying. I'm hopped up on every gastric pill imaginable, and I still cannot lean back even a degree without wanting to throw up. I can't sleep, even in the recliner, because the moment I relax my gorge rises. This is the second night in a row of ZERO sleep. All I can do is sit in bed and make trips to the bathroom to throw up, which gives me no relief. There's always more stomach acid to come up and burn my throat. I've been awake since 11am Sunday, and I'm MISERABLE.

Baby, I need you out now. This is so not funny.

Oh you poor thing!!! I had one bad night of no sleep a few days ago, and that was miserable. Would you consider taking a Unisom?

At this point, I'd take anything, even if it meant waking up in the morning in a puddle of my own vomit - which is probably what would happen. I'm already taking Valerian to get me to sleep.

Hugs to everyone that is struggling.

I thought I'd been really cagey about my due-date, but suddenly everyone seems to know it's due around now, & so many people are getting in touch to ask. I am trying to be pleased that they care but really, can't they understand that no news means no news!

Sara, that sounds really horrible! Hope you get some sleep soon! And some labour!

I'm due tomorrow. No signs of anything recently. I hope I make it through the day, dh needs to pick up our playpen tonight, and if I go into labour and have to call him home, we won't get it.

Ok, dh was a total nerd and guess on the baby pool May 28. THat's tomorrow. I will be 41 weeks. I have never been this pregnant ever. I told him when he originally guessed it that if I went to the 28th he had to have his vasectomy with no pain meds. I told him he has less than 24 hours.

My whole body hurts, it hurts to move. I am at the end of my rope.

i'm still here. my doula called yesterday and made me feel better. hubby called from work today to see if anything was happening and i said no. he said too bad my computer is down at work so i am just sitting here. today would be a good day. i said well i can't control labor anymore than i can the weather. my mil predicted today is the day. i hope so but i have a feeling its not. last night i had alot of pressure where i could only find comfort on the toilet. i also got a blister on my foot from my sandles and it itches like crazy. my carpal is still hanging out. i really do want this baby here already. i am now 3 days overdue from my edd.

Well, I managed to get almost 3 hours of consecutive sleep! I fell asleep shortly after 5am and woke up when DH left for work just before 8. Luckily I only have one piano lesson today, and it's my favorite student.

I just don't know how many more nights like last night I can take before I go totally batty. I have this fear that I'm setting myself up for a c-section because I won't have the energy to labor because I haven't gotten any sleep.

I have immense sympathy for all you mommas who are over their due dates. I don't think I can even entertain the thought right now. Labor vibes to all of you.

Oh yuck! Hope you feel better soon.
