safe, natural cutlery and dishware

Hi,

My six month old just cut her first tooth and we had just been offering her metal spoons and ceramic cups, which worked fine. Now that the tooth has sprung through I don't want any chips to happen to these new mouth friends she's made, but don't want to switch to plastic (!!!). I have wooden bowls, which are easy enough to find, but what about wooden cups, spoons and plates...
anyone know of a good, affordable source, or something else i could use that would be soft enough for her new teeth?

thanks so much!

IME you don't need special utensils to protect their teeth. I do know that there are bamboo utensils out there, but I have never used any so I don't have any recs...

I just bought a set of Bambu kids utensils for my fifteen-month-old. So far, she just plays with them. My preschooler wants a set too, so I'm going to get him the regular ones.

Love, love, love our Bambu!

We have the children's set (not the baby set) for DD and she loves them -- we did baby-led solids so she's been using utensils almost from the get-go.

I've also got all kinds of bamboo utensils for myself - spatulas and spoons and tongs and stuff... eventually we'd love to have ALL our kitchenware be bamboo. It's fantastic!

Nova Naturals has wooden baby and toddler spoons. We like them.
