Tick repellent?

Any natural tick repellents out there? Something we can make ourselves? I just put the picnic blanket down in the back yard and when I turned back to grab my pen, there was a tick already walking across my notebook. We spend a lot of time in the backyard and on the ground.

I just saw a bottle of stuff at Whole Foods. I *think* it repells ticks, but now I can't remember. I believe the brand was All-Terrain. Anyway, the main ingredients were EOs; peppermint, cedar, geranium, cintronella and lemongrasss. I'm thinking of making a spray of my own with those ingredients.
