Hi! I'd like to switch from conventional "tear-free" shampoo/baby wash to something natural. Can anyone make a recommendation? Thanks!

I use Dr. Bronners as a body soap and shampoo for my 1 year old. I use Jason shampoo and conditioner for my 4 year old (the Dr. Bronner doesn't do well with her long hair)

I really like the Nature's Gate Soothing Shampoo for Baby for Fine, Delicate Hair. It isn't totally and completely natural like the solid shampoos, but it's a good baby step for us. Plus it smells like baby shampoo used to back in the day...It works well for all 4 of our kids at their ages and w/ different hair types/lengths.

We use Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash in the summer to wash off the sunscreen. In the winter we don't use anything but water. When they are really young there really is no need for soap.

I use California Baby (either super sensitive or calm) bodywash and shampoo. It works great!

Hi,

I have tried several different shampoo/body washes and I just found one that is my favorite. It is by Noli n Nali. You can google them to find their site. I have had my own business selling natural and organic products and have sampled different ones. I am new to this site/board and I don't know if I am suppose to post my site address or not? But you can find it at the company's site. It was created by a mom!!! which I always love.
It is 100% Natural and 74% Natural. It is called Chomomile Willow Baby Shampoo. I actually use it on my face too! I found that it has a nice thickness, rinses well and my son's hair is squeeky clean! Other natual shampoo I tried were really runny. California Baby is great too but I like to support small companies when I can and this shampoo has less ingredients than Ca Baby.
Good luck!

I use the burt's bees shampoo for their hair, and agree that they don't need anything for their bodies. Just soaking.
