Drymids, or other bedwetting diapers

No disposable diaper will work anymore at night for my bedwetting almost 6 year old. We switched from cloth to disposable when he was four because the cloth was not cutting it. But now I've got to figure something out.

I'm looking at Drymids. Anyone use these before? http://exceptionalcaresolutions.com/...products_id=45
Any other suggestions? Honestly, I really can't go on another goose hunt thru the WAHM diaper making world (though I love them all) and spending a lot of money trying to find something that fits, is comfortable, and will work.

Someone tell me these Drymids are the ticket. : )

Have you tried the disposable Good nights? they are made for bedwetters. And while they don't do the trick for our bedwetting 7 yo 100% of the time, they're a lot better than the alternatives I've found.

I'd be interested in hearing reviews of Drymids or something similar too.

We, too, have an almost 7-year-old and use Goodnites.

The Drymids may work, I don't know, but for me that would be a lot of money wasted if they didn't. Yes, the Goodnites are disposable, but if he doesn't wet them then we can re-use them for 2-3 nights.

Pampers just came out with some for older kids called "Underjams". I saw them on Amazon. No experience with them, but we will definitely be giving them a try.

Thanks for the replies.

I realize now that I did try Good Nights awhile back but they were too big for my then 40 lber and would leak. He's 45 lbs now so maybe they will work. I would probably have the same issue with the Drymids.

Its weird - I've done searches on Drymids and getting no recent reviews. No so sure I'll take the chance.

But Good Nights are so expensive too! About $1 a diaper - my ds wets every night and sometimes twice. Ugh.

Ds, who is 5 still wets at night and while we always cd'd when he was in diapers I couldn't find anything that kept him dry any longer.

He is very tall but very thin and weighs 41 lbs and we have been having good luck with the goodnights also. He wears the smallest size and they seem to fit ok now without leaks.

Might be worth a try again before you splurge on the drymids...luckily for us, he doesn't wet every night so one pack lasts quite a while....

Good luck.

We have the same problem with DS. What we do is put a disposable on him and a stuffed Fuzzi Bunz over top of it (he's 60lbs but is actually quite skinny with bones sticking out everywhere as he's tall). If we're travelling we just double up the disposables (yeah, I never though I'd have to use sposies but I was tired of frigging around looking for something that works and he has been getting rashes in cloth the past year or so). Otherwise we usually have quite a mess on our hands and since we co-sleep, I don't want the family waking up to a wet bed every night
