Tell me stories about healing caries in toddlers with nutrition please! - worried mamma..

We just saw the ped for the first time. She looked in my son's mouth and said "his teeth are a mess." She said it's possible that it is problems with his enamel, not cavities, but she just recommended a good pediatric dentist (who we will consider...) I have enamel problems, so it's possible that it is an enamel problem in him.

She said that most likely he will need to go under anaesthesia. I really want to avoid this. I have found a local dairy that produces raw milk and soon, butter. I am thinking about giving him these products and also xylitol products.

I'm also looking into MI paste. I don't know what it is yet...

Anyway, I feel overwhelmed. There are so many products and ways to do it...

My main issue - We are losing our health insurance after August, so I can't afford to wait. If he needs anaesthesia we have to make the decision and do it before August 30. Pressure.

What would you do if you were me???

Absolutely do not make that kind of decision on a pressured timetable! Yikes! Healing his body and teeth with nutrition will not cost you a ton of money, and it doesn't traumatize the poor little thing either! Have you seen this website: www.curetoothdecay.com? Hang in there!

Eat lots of mineral broths too, and use uncleharry.com products. My enamel is stronger than ever. I suggest you call uncle harry up and ask him what specifically to do for your child. He is so helpful. His products really work. After years of bad teeth, my dentist is actually impressed! (and they couldn't even find a old cavitiy!)

interesting

I've never heard of Uncle Harry's. I took a look at it. What products would you recommend? The Childrens toothpaste? Tooth powder? I also have bad teeth so this is very interesting to me!

As for mineral broths - would that be something like a broth made from Marrow Bones? I've seen that recommended before?

I am currently using uncle harrys tooth powder, miracle mouth wash, remineralzation powder, taking calcium/ magnesium, cod liver oil, and lots of raw yogurt. Also mineral broth from any kind of bones, marrow bones works too.

I have seen such a change in my dental and gum health.

I had receding gums, and I started using a water pic and taking camu camu, and my gums are tighter and seem to be growing back.

Do you brush his teeth? I would be concerned if the ped is concerned. I would imagine any nutritive benefits are easier to do *before* problems start. At the very least you could take him to a pediatric dentist to have his teeth professionally cleaned.

Yes, we brush his teeth. I am going to take him to a pediatric dentist recommended by his Pediatrician. I'm just hoping to start strengthening/healing his teeth now so as to avoid a really invasive/traumatic procedure.

Dd's tooth decay is arresting & remineralization is happening - here's what we did.

I feel really stupid, but when I try to pull up uncleharry.com, I get to an appliance repair website:
