My name is Lisa-Marie (29) my dh is Steve (32). We've been married since '97 and have a wonderful little 2 year old, B.
I just found out that I'm expecting a surprise baby in June. It still hasn't sunk in yet.
I went to the boards I posted on when I was pregnant the first time around and discovered that I can't handle the ignorance, even this early on, and the ap board I was on turned out to be not the place I thought it was, so I'm looking for a new "home" on the 'net.
We are a semi-AP (we both yell too much for me to say that we're totally AP), non-vaxing, p/t cloth diapering and extended bf'ing family.
My son was born by c-section due to a variety of stupid and avoidable reasons. and I plan to have a home birth with this baby. I'd like to go unassisted, but dh isn't too keen on the idea. Yet.
I'm also an aspiring midwife, though I guess doing much more than reading is going to have to wait for a few more years.
