Is it normal for every thing to be on one side?

This is my first pregnancy, so everything is new to me. But this seems odd. It seems that everything is on the right hand side of my body. Is it normal for the uterus to sit to one side or the other? I feel a little lopsided. I'm in my 14th week...haven't had a sono but did hear the heartbeat in the 12th week, and the fetus was on the right side then. Is this normal?

In my experience yes. The baby doesn't take up the whole uterus, there's all the fluid and the placenta as well. I think some babes just prefer one side or another for some reason.

As DD got bigger there would be a larger buldge on whatever side she was hanging out on that day. She was a right side baby most of the time IIRC. I don't think it was particularly noticible to others but I noticed it.

I am due in Sept .. but I have been experiencing the same thing. From the very beginning the baby always felt like he or she was on the left side.. with nothing on the right or up high.. so on my 20 week ultrasound I brought it up and the Dr. said that my feelings were right.. and that the baby was lying only on the left side and that the placenta was all on the right side. I guess the baby is just comfy on that side.. as he or she is still there and I am 24 weeks! So I say its normal !

I feel almost all my kicks on the right or in the center and my doctor has found the heartbeat slightly to the right each time. It is a bit weird to feel lopsided

I feel a bigger 'lump' on my left... I think s/he likes to sleep there, because when it shifts, I get movement on the right.

Yep, I have a righty baby as well! It's also where I had pains early on in my pregnancy so I guess that's where the baby implanted, etc. In the morning before I go to the bathroom my stomach is lopsided and I'm only 16 weeks!

I am not showing all that much yet.. well I mean I am not skinny enough to notice the lopsideness

But bean tends to hang around in the right side of my uterus still, I can feel the lump and most of the movement is felt on my left side (I think I may have a partial anterior placenta on the right side... the top right "corner" was where s/he implanted and was at my 6w6d u/s.

I just got back from my OB app. today and my tiny bump was lopside to the right. I guess that's the side my babe picked too?

For a long while my bump was towards the left side. As my uterus has been expanding the bump has drifted towards the center. I feel most activity on the left side or center. I guess baby doesn't like the right side.
