planned spending yesterday- gas and a gift for friends. today, unplanned but in budget, dinner out for me and girls. That wipes out our entertainment budget for the month, somehow I'll have to make it one whole day without being entertained .
So I definitely did not make my 15 days of no-spends, but did have approximately 50% no spend days since the day I started, so that's good. Also, came in under budget in the gas category, which I'm pleased with. We've really been staying home a lot, which may be mind-numbingly boring some days, but is good for the budget

Well the month is pretty much over and I haven't even spent a dime of the money budgeted for the baby . . . I guess that's one way not to spend . . . between work, school, homework, and the kiddo I didn't even have time to go to the baby store.

Yahoo!!!! This has definitely been my best no-spend month ever. Partially that was for happy reasons (had a baby and spent two weeks babymooning) and partially that was for not-happy reasons (DH was sick and went into the hospital)...so this month probably won't be replicated again.

But it was great for my budget!

We drove the car a lot this month (and have the soaring gasoline bills to prove it) but I spent so little in other areas that it all balanced out.

Overall, a good month. On to July...
