"JIMMY! Come BACK to me JIMMY!"

Yup, it's a fav around here too!

Yep, me, too.

I'm with ya! Great movie.

I could not sit through it. I am too sensitive; I couldn't bear the depiction of a lost child.

I think it's not a good movie for most children under 8 or so. The storyline involving separation from parents could be very upsetting.

My older daughter liked the movie. We have two small plastic storage bins that they empty out and pretend it's their boats.

I love it, too.

That was a good movie. It's been years since I've seen it. I don't know if I could watch it now, since having children. We have the soundtrack and listen to it often.

I'm pretty sensitive too, but was ok with it because it was a fairy tale, and the child was cared for (by the seals) and happy (though of course wanting his family back). Obviously in real life it wouldn't have been that way but it seemed ok for this story.

You know, I've always wanted to see it. It's one of the previews on my VHS (yes I still have VHS movies and a tape player) of Little Women. I saw it at the Blockbuster near here. I'm going to have to watch it.

This is one of the most magical movies our family has watched together. My normally very sensitive dd, who bolts at the hint of conflict in a movie, loves, loves it. We listen to the soundtrack as well.

Love it! The grandmother is totally awesome.

I saw this at the Omega Institute, and I was simply touched. And I'm someone who normally like American Pie movies.

Nice, if you liked that then you will probably enjoy The Water Horse too. Give it a try.

YUP! loved that one as well! My kids adore it. 'I want a water horse!' was the battle cry in the house for quite awhile after that.
