With dd I had NOTHING until labor started (at 2am and I couldn't go back to sleep...) Nothing. Nada. Not a sign.

No signs whatsoever for me either. Im due saturday. Never had signs with DD until labor started, which was 2 days before EDD, which would be tonight/tomorrow btw. Trying to be patient but constant calls and messages arent helping. I really didnt think I was gonna have to go to my Friday OB appt until now. Im glad I know the many many drawbacks to inductions or id so be there!

I'm there with ya, 2 days until due date, no real signs..I think I get some contractions sometimes but they are so wimpy that they don't make me think that's what they will really be like. I keep waiting for something, mucus plug would be so exciting, heck I'd even take diarrhea We've cleaned the house so many times in the last 3 weeks just trying to stay ready. It's good to hear that so many of you started labor without signs.
Is anyone else so sick of midwife appts? I have one tomorrow and I would love to not go, it just gets a bit depressing..

I had prodromal labour some last week, but that seems to have gone away. I've never seen a mucous plug, and this is my third pregnancy.

Earlier in the pregnancy I was saying I was hopinh I'd give birth on my birthday, June 5, because I was born on my Dad's birthday. That gives me another week. But really, any time now would be great.

I just missed my mum's birthday! 28th, yesterday. I'd quite like the 5th June as well, 'cause it's exactly 6 months after my birthday... Also conveniently before 42 weeks & the beginning of all the fuss with the back-up doc etc.

Anyway, yeah, I'm 40w4d so not hugely overdue, don't feel like anything is about to happen, but aware that it could do with no warning signs... NICE protocol means that I should be offered induction at 42 weeks, so we'll wait & see what is happening then. My midwife just attended a woman at home at 42w3d so I'm confident that she will support me if I refuse induction (UK - NHS midwives).

Nope, didn't have any signs here... Unless you count the half hour spent on the toilet with diarrhea right before active labor kicked in. My belly also felt a bit heavier earlier in the day (baby dropping, finally?), but even with it being my third baby I didn't connect the dots until afterwards, so at the time I would've sworn that labor was days or weeks away still!

Hope those of you that are still waiting have babes in arms asap!

I didn't have any signs at all for the 1st two pregnancies. But the with #3 I had contractions the day before....had a glass of wine to stop them and then he was born the next afternoon. BUT I have been having those same contractions for MONTHS with this one!!!! So you never know!! I have never lost a plug or had my water break before pushing.

This time I had no signs until labor started (14 hours before Carter was born). My doctor even checked my cervix the day before and said that there was no sign that I would have the baby anytime soon and he expected me to go late.

I was induced for my first pregnancy and I had no signs that time either.

I didn't have any signs until the day before his birth (a Thursday). Went to my MW appointment that day and said I had some crampiness at regular intervals. They guess babe would come Monday or Tuesday.

Plug and bloody show soon after I got home-- MWs adjusted their guess to Saturday and told me to get some sleep.

Serious labor after that, and he was born 9 hours later-- Friday at 6:18AM.

I am not showing any signs of labor either. 2 weeks ago I was having contractions, (BH) and a little less than 2 weeks ago--lost a couple different pieces of MP. that got me excited....this week-- NOTHING! not even the cramping and stuff I had last week. EDD today. last appt the MW told me the baby had even maybe gone more up (NOT DOWN-sheesh!- yes appt are depressing!)

With my 1st---I had absolutely NO signs. not ONE BH or ANYTHING! I had gone to doctor that day and was a 1 and 70% efaced and he said he'd see me in a couple weeks. I started labor that night and had my son like 7 hours later! He was 6 days early---i guess that's why i expected this girl to come sooner (BIG mistake---all children are different! people told me this but I still got my hopes up!)

So YES labor could start ANY second!

Not in your DDC but if it helps any I didn't have any signs of labor with my dd. I had her 2 days after my due date. The night before dh and I went out on a date and we were playing mini-golf, laser tag, etc and I felt fine (well except for being hugely pregnant lol). We came home that night and I felt normal. We went to bed and I went right to sleep. I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to pee and noticed I sort of crampy feeling. I started looking at the clock and realized it came at regular intervals. I never had a bloody show. I never saw any sign of my mucous plug. My water didn't break. Then, even in labor I never saw any bloody show or anything. We don't even know when my water broke but it must have been just before I started pushing since that's the only time I was on the toliet.

Sending you all labor vibes! I know I'm a wacko but I LOVE giving birth and am jealous!
