Sales down for the summer?

Mine have been down the last few weeks. Am I alone?

Not sure if it is the season or the news about the economy or something else. Just wanted to see if it is noticeable to anyone else!

Mine seem to have picked up over the last couple of weeks. I hope things get better for your biz....I know it really stinks when it is slow (I've had more than my share). Watch, now I've just jinxed myself....LOL

Sales have a tendancy to be cyclical -- and in some industries summer time is when things are slowest. I know this tends to be true for me - and it also tends to be true for forums.

This is a perfect time to look at developing a new product, run a new marketing campaign, change your website design, etc.

Are you making use of all the marketing methods you can be to reach your target market?

I felt very frustrated last summer with a dip in sales. But it wasn't so much a dip in sales as it was a dip in traffic. I think a lot of people are just - outside doing fun stuff. I know that after the long winter here in Montana we all go running out side when the warm weather hits!
I also take it as a challenge though - I'm not sure what your business is, but for me in the diaper business, women don't stop having babies and needing diapers in the summer.
