Wii game recommendations

...for me? We recently bought a Wii, and I'm excited about using the WiiFit, but I can't find one anywhere. So in the meantime, does anyone have any game recs?

We just got one too! So far all I've played other than the sports is Zelda Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy. I love them both. I would definitely recommend SMG just because of how neat it looks. I love playing Zelda just b/c swinging your arm, swings your sword. I'm curious to see what everyone else has played.

I need a good 2 player game so DH and I can play together.

Super Mario Galaxy - It actually won Game of the Year for all systems last year. The kids love it and are better than me at it. DH and I have played a few times together (he plays my star).

Mario Party 8 - I'm a HUGE fan of all the MP games and this one is really fun. We play 4 players quite a bit. It's fun to compete and cheer each other on at the same time.

Zelda - DH loves this game and DS loves watching him play.

Resident Evil 4 - I know, not everyone's cup of tea, but the RE games are my favorite of all-time! DH and I used to play it for hours and hours in his barracks when we were dating ('98) and it's fun to be able to play it now. It's a one-player, but we just sit and watch each other play. Plus, there are REALLY cool bonus games (MERCENARIES!)

We have a few others, but nothing that great. Although, we do love Wii Sports because you can make tons of Miis and they're your teammates and spectators. It's funny to yell "Neville Longbottom's on my baseball team!". Yeah, we're dorks.

I think we're going to get Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. soon.

As for WiiFit, DH told me it sold OUT in minutes of it's release. I JUST saw it the other day in my BH & G mag. I REALLY want it.

I'm waiting for WiiFit, also! It took DH a bit of convincing, which is strange because he usually wants every game under the sun. I think he just hasn't seen the full cool-ness of WiiFit (and he also isn't trying to lose leftover baby fat!)

DH and I also like Cooking Mama (I know, it looks kind of cheesy, but we have a blast!) and Marble Mania (maybe my all-time fave for the Wii?)
Both of them have 2-player ("cook-offs" and marble races) and aren't at all violent, so are good for kids too.

I keep seeing the WiiFit at Costco, they seem to always have them in stock.

We play a lot of MarioKart. All of us Even dd, who's only 2 1/2 has gotten really good at it. I love Carnival Games too. It's like being at a carnival, but for free! We also play the wii sports and wii play discs a lot. I've always been very anti video game but I really love the Wii. It's fun for the whole family

We like Playground a lot! The boys also enjoy Mario Kart, though dh says he gets a bit motion-sick from it. Dh played Super Mario Galaxy and it was okay, but we much prefer true multi-player games. Though, I have to say for a single-player game, Guitar Hero III is SO fun! I really want to check out the WiiFit. And we want to check out We Ski but we don't have it.

I am subbing in.
My kids and dh love the golf that comes with wii play.
I actually think we may get him TigerWoods Golf for Dad's Day. Anyone try that?

The Marble Games looks like fun. May have to try that.

We tried Mario Party, and I got really bored...Maybe it would be fun if DS were older, but with just me and DH, I found it slow. I'm going to borrow the Wii fit from a friend tomorrow, so I'm excited about that.

One of the silliest games that dh and I had DAYS of fun playing is Excite Truck. We played it while staying with a friend while out of town, and we stayed up till the wee hours of the morning for 3 nights playing it. I played it so much I pinched a nerve in my shoulder I hurt for a couple of days!

It is far more fun than it should be. It's not nearly as "realistic" as many of the driving games out there, but I like that. It makes you feel like you're going really fast

Anyway, it's a fun one! http://www.gamespot.com/wii/driving/...uck/index.html
